What we do each month, so you don't have to

Backups

Every night, plus a fresh backup before any update. If something breaks, we restore the last good version, within 24 hours on Website Care and 4 hours on Managed.

Updates

WordPress, theme and plugin updates are applied and the site is checked afterwards. When an update breaks something, fixing it is part of the plan.

Security

A web application firewall filters traffic before it reaches your site. Malware scanning runs daily, and known vulnerabilities are patched.

Monitoring

Uptime is watched continuously. Your SSL certificate and domain renewal dates are checked daily, so nothing expires unnoticed.

Reporting

A monthly report on request: what was done, what was found and what we recommend, in plain English.

How we take over your site

  1. Review. We look at your site, its hosting and how it is set up, including sites someone else built. You get a plain-English summary of what needs fixing first.
  2. Setup. Backups, monitoring and security go in. Anything urgent is fixed in the first week.
  3. Monthly care. Backups, updates, scans and monitoring run on schedule. When something needs your decision, we ask before acting.
  4. Report and review. You get a report on what was done and what we recommend next.

Website maintenance questions

Can you look after a site someone else built?

Yes. Most care clients came to us with an existing site. We review it first and tell you what needs fixing before the plan starts.

How quickly do you respond?

Within 24 business hours on Website Care, 8 on Plus and 4 on Managed. Restores follow the same pattern: 24, 8 and 4 hours.

How long do you keep backups?

We back up daily and keep 30 days of backups, plus a backup before every update.

Will my site be completely secure?

No one can promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What a care plan does is cut the risk and make sure that when something gets through, it is caught quickly and your data can be restored.

Can I pay monthly or annually?

Both. Monthly plans are invoiced in advance at the start of each month, and you can cancel with one month's notice by email. If you pay for a year upfront, you get a discounted rate.

We work to an annual budget. Can the plan fit it?

Yes. Charities and organisations that set budgets yearly can pay annually, and we can shape the plan's coverage around the budget you have.

Are your prices ex VAT?

Yes. Irish VAT at 23% is added. Website Care at €270 comes to €332.10 a month including VAT.
