Create a more useful local directory.

IrishDirectory was the original WordPress version of what became Huubr. Built for a client, it helped Irish businesses establish an online presence and made their services easier for people to find.

The brief called for a clear, mobile-friendly route through business search, detailed listings and profiles, with a straightforward way for businesses to register, publish information and bring their reviews together.

02 / The directory experience

Search, listing and profile.

The directory was organised around the tasks on both sides of a local search: visitors needed a clear way to explore business listings, while business owners needed an accessible route to create and manage their presence.

Business profile pages brought each listing into focus. The project also included mobile-friendly dashboards, review imports and integrations for business sign-in and location discovery.

IrishDirectory was the earlier version of Huubr.

This case study covers IrishDirectory, the original WordPress version of the product built for a client. Huubr is its newer, rebuilt version.
