1. Store audit
Review the catalogue, customers, orders, Shopify theme, apps, integrations, analytics and URLs before confirming the WordPress and WooCommerce migration scope.
Find out what a move to WordPress and WooCommerce would involve before committing to a replacement store.
CK Website Design starts with a migration audit, not an assumption that leaving Shopify is the right choice. We review the catalogue, apps, customer and order data, integrations and URLs, then separate transferable information from functions that need rebuilding or archiving. You can assess the migration scope and likely dependencies before deciding whether to proceed.
A platform move affects more than product records. The audit reviews app dependencies, account and order data, URLs, payment setup, customer journeys and the operations that will need to work in WooCommerce. It can also conclude that the current Shopify store should stay in place.

Clean and map supported store data, match useful Shopify URLs to WordPress or WooCommerce destinations and prepare permanent redirects.
Create the WordPress and WooCommerce store, configure supported payments, replace required app functions and prepare analytics.
Test imports, account flows, checkout, payments, emails, stock, redirects and analytics before the final data pass.
Provide training and documentation, then complete the agreed post-launch checks.
Product titles, descriptions, prices, SKUs, variants, stock values, categories and available media can usually be mapped into WooCommerce from supported Shopify exports or APIs after an audit.
Supported customer and historical order fields can be assessed for import. Complex refunds, fulfilment, subscriptions and app-owned records may need a limited import or separate archive.
Useful Shopify product, collection, page and article URLs are mapped to relevant WordPress or WooCommerce destinations, then permanent redirects are prepared and checked.
Customer passwords and payment-card details are not portable. Shopify themes and apps do not transfer as software, so required functions must be rebuilt, reconfigured or replaced.
€750 to €1000 ex VAT, depending on store complexity. The audit fee is credited in full when a migration is signed within 60 days of the audit report. Delivered in 5–7 working days from store access.
From €7500 ex VAT. Scope, data transfer and launch work are confirmed from the audit.
From €12500 ex VAT for phased work involving complex ecommerce operations. Subscription stores are assessed in the audit and quoted separately.
A Shopify Migration Audit costs €750 to €1000 ex VAT, depending on the store catalogue, apps, integrations, customer and order data, URL structure and operational dependencies. The audit fee is credited in full if you sign the migration within 60 days of receiving the audit report.
No migration should be promised before the store is audited. Standard catalogue and customer fields are often portable, but Shopify themes, apps, passwords, payment details and some subscription, fulfilment or custom records may not have a direct WooCommerce equivalent. We document the supported transfer and any agreed archive or manual work before development.
Usually not. Passwords are securely stored and are not normally included in platform exports, so existing customers may need to set a new password on the replacement store. We plan the account messaging and reset journey as part of launch.
Order history is imported where Shopify exports or supported APIs provide the required fields and the new system supports them. Anything that cannot be imported is exported to CSV and handed over as an accessible archive. Payment-card details cannot be transferred. Subscription stores are assessed during the audit and quoted separately.
Shopify apps do not transfer into WordPress or WooCommerce as software. We identify what each app does, then replace the required business function with a supported plugin, integration or custom feature. A replacement may work differently and remains subject to its own costs, licence and account terms.
We inventory useful Shopify URLs, map each one to the closest relevant destination, preserve important on-page information where appropriate and prepare permanent redirects. Analytics and search tools are checked after launch, but no agency can guarantee unchanged rankings during a platform migration.
That depends on whether the provider supports the replacement platform, business location, currencies and required checkout flow. Payment accounts and sensitive card data are not migrated. We confirm supported configuration and responsibilities before launch.
